  • Rule 1

    Musique Dépôt operates this Website from its offices in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. Musique Dépôt makes no representation to the effect that its Web Site may be used elsewhere than Canada and it is forbidden to access the Web Site from any country or territory where the legislation prescribes that the content or the use of the Website is illegal. Any user of our Web Site do so on their own initiative and are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including those of its place of origin. Any dispute related to the Website and the elements it contains, or arising out of the use of the Website, is governed by the laws applicable on the territory of the province of Quebec and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant court sitting in the City of Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu.

  • Rule 2

    The sale price displayed on the Website may differ from those in store. Musique Dépôt reserves the right at any time to change the prices of products offered on the Site, without notice.

  • Rule 3

    Musique Dépôt reserves the right to open the packages of the products to inspect the merchandise or to adjust it if necessary.

Payment

  • Rule 6

    Musique Dépôt accepts the following methods of payment for purchases on its Web Site :

    b. Mastercard
    c. Paypal

  • Rule 7

    The goods will be delivered only when the Musique Dépôt will have received payment in full for the goods, including taxes and transportation costs.

  • Rule 8

    If we do not have in inventory the whole or a part of your order, we will contact you before delivering. On your agreement, the available products will be delivered and the portion out-of-stock as soon as possible. In the event where Musique Dépôt was unable to deliver the order, or part thereof, the order will be automatically canceled after 60 days and you will receive a refund accordingly (except if Musique Dépôt has notified you by e-mail to inform you of a delivery date after 60 days). If no payment has been taken and that the Musique Dépôt was unable to deliver the order within 60 days after the date of the order, the order will be cancelled simply. Musique Dépôt shall in no case be held responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of'out of stock.

Transportation and shipping

  • Rule 9

    All costs of transportation and delivery, as well as the applicable sales taxes are in addition to the price displayed on the Website. Customs charges and brokerage, if applicable, are the responsibility and will be collected by a third party. You must ensure that your contact information and the type of currency that you use in order that Music Filing can provide you with the price that applies to your geographical location.

  • Rule 10

    Musique Dépôt makes its deliveries through FEDEX messenger service as well as other similar businesses. Delivery time (after notification) can take from 1 to 10 business days, to most major metropolitan centres. The time of delivery to rural areas or remote areas may be longer and/or require that the taking of possession by the customer is made at a point of service. Any additional delivery charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Rule 11

    Any goods shipped by Musique Dépôt is not insured and the risks inherent in the transport and the delivery are borne by the customer. For instance, Fedex provides the goods that it supplies to a maximum of 50% of its value. Any additional insurance can be purchased by the customer, as its sole discretion, and at the time of placing the order at an approximate cost of 4.5% of the residual value.

  • Rule 12

    Any estimated cost for the delivery and the words "free delivery" of the goods excludes delivery to the northwest Territories, the Yukon, Newfoundland, Labrador, Nunavut and rural and remote areas. Any order placed from a location in Canada designated as the offset will be investigated by our staff and you will be notified of any extra delivery cost before we proceed to the shipment of the goods.

  • Rule 13

    The prices of the goods exclude all applicable taxes, delivery costs and insurance. Free shipping does not apply to remote areas (including the northwest Territories, the Yukon, Newfoundland, Labrador, Nunavut and rural and remote areas), and any other location designated by Fedex, in which case additional charges may apply. You will be informed of any additional costs before your order is processed.

  • Rule 14

    The transportation Costs of the defective goods must be borne by the client for the sending and the return of the goods from its home at the music store Musique Dépôt or domicile of the manufacturer, as the case may be. The deadlines and delivery costs can vary depending on the destination of the shipment, the method of delivery chosen and the availability of the products. Delivery times are estimated from the time the goods leave the place of business.

  • Rule 15

    Warranties on goods purchased are the sole responsibility of the manufacturers of those goods. Musique Dépôt will act as a middleman between the manufacturer and the customer, when possible.

  • Rule 16

    All goods must be inspected upon receipt and, in case of breakage or other damage, the customer must immediately notify the company and Music Dépôt.

  • Rule 17

    In the event the merchandise is defective, please notify immediately the service department of the store of music Musique Dépôt that will tell you the procedure to follow.
